WHAT: Park Slope Homebrew Tour
WHEN: Saturday, November 9, 1 p.m.
WHERE: Park Slope, Brooklyn
TICKETS: $35. They go on sale Thursday, October 10, at 12 p.m.
This walking tour will take us across Park Slope, Brooklyn. We'll meet Terry di Paolo, who strives to create fresh, balanced beers. Expect beers such as hefeweizen and pale ale punched up with Citra, as well as surprises. Surprises!
Next, we'll meet Ken Zammito, who uses a tiny three-gallon (!) system to crank out a dizzying variety of beers, including wild-fermented ales and pale ales. Lastly, we'll visit Peter Alston, a Cleveland, Ohio, native who favors beers like well-hopped saisons and a nut brown ale that's perfect for fall.
