Surprisingly, finding enough time to convince your wife to Photoshop the faces of our friends and family onto an Escape From New York movie poster is kind of difficult when you are trying to pack up a quarter-century of your life for an impending move to Ohio. But we did it!

And the reason for the poster: We’re going to have a joint NYC going-away party with friends at Covenhoven on Sunday, June 23, from 12pm until, oh, 6pm. There will be fun beers from our friends at KCBC, Wild East, Strong Rope and Finback, and I do believe I will be dressing like a hot dog and grilling hot dogs. No RSVPs needed, no tickets, no pressure, but if you around NYC and free, swing by and say hey. Open to all!
