I’m volunteering to help run this block party. Going to be a blast!
Summer has been a sweaty blast, but before vacations end and schools start there’s one last celebration: CrestFest, the best fest.
On Saturday, August 16, in the center of South Clintonville, a scenic stretch of Crestview Road will be closed to traffic and open to a free all-ages celebration for everyone. The neighborhood-run block party, which was founded in 2010, will deliver an all-day slate of eating and entertainment.
Like free sno-cones and freshly popped popcorn? Amazing local bands? Live karaoke with Parker Paul? CrestFest has everyone covered. The block party will also feature food trucks offering burgers, breakfast, burritos, popsicles, and Mexican street corn, plus a free kid’s craft area, bounce house and trash-can skateboard rides. What are those? Come to CrestFest to find out—and make some new friends in the friendliest neighborhood in Columbus.
CrestFest is summer’s finest final hurrah. Won’t you come and join us? Check out our Facebook and Instagram pages for additional information.
