Dark Horse Reserve Special Black Bier Ale - Beer of the Week

Nominally speaking, I'm not the world's biggest dark-beer fan. It's tough for me to sit down and suck back three or four stouts or porters in one sitting. The heaviness, whether real or perceived, begins to weigh on my tongue like a sumo wrestler. But this treat, from Michigan's Dark Horse, tread a tasty middle ground. It's the color of moonless midnight, yet it's as nimble as it is creamy. There's lightness in that darkness. Curious? Check out the full write-up at Slashfood. Drink it up!
