Furthermore Fallen Apple - Beer of the Week

This week, I turn my swollen liver to Wisconsin, where Furthermore Beer cranks out curiosities such as the Knot Stock pale ale, made with black pepper, and Thermo Refur, a sour ale dosed with Brettanomyces and organic beets. But this week, I had my sights set on Fallen Apple, a curious mash-up of fresh-pressed cider and a cream ale. It's tart, tingly and rounded, with a nice champagne effervescence to seal the deal.
