For this week's beer, I stick close to New York, casting my gaze upon Long Island's Barrier Brewing. Run by former Sixpoint brewer Evan Klein, Barrier makes full-flavored, full-bodied brews with an assertive hop profile. My favorite of the bunch is the spicy, hop-walloped Ruthless Rye IPA.
